Jola Speaks is a daily Podcast intended to grow and equip its listeners in their trust walk with God. The current focus is on obtaining clarity as we go through our individual processes with God - drop our own will, answering His calling, trusting Him and submitting to His Will. Why me? Why am I here? Why don’t I feel content with my achievements? What is happening to me? Why does my heart feel so heavy? What is wrong? Yes! we have so many questions, I have been there, I understand what you are going through, and you are not alone. I am by no means an expert and every episode is inspired by the Holy Spirit. When God gives you a message, assignment, or purpose, your responsibility is not to control the outcome,it is simply to deliver! Daniel 3:1-7 teaches us this truth through the story of King Nebuchadnezzar’s golden statue and the unwavering faith of those who refused to bow.
King Nebuchadnezzar, in an act of pride and control, built a 90-foot golden statue and commanded everyone to bow in worship. The pressure was real, the cost of disobedience was death in a fiery furnace! But three Hebrew men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, chose to stand firm.Their job was to obey God, not to manipulate the outcome. They couldn’t control how the king would react, nor could they guarantee their survival. Their responsibility was simply to stand firm and deliver their faith in action.
Are you afraid to speak up for what’s right because of how others may react? Do you hesitate in sharing God’s word, pursuing your calling, or standing for righteousness because of potential backlash? Like the Hebrew men, our role is not to predict the outcome, it’s to remain obedient and faithful.
Your responsibility is to deliver, God handles the rest!
