Jola Speaks is a daily Podcast intended to grow and equip its listeners in their trust walk with God. The current focus is on obtaining clarity as we go through our individual processes with God - drop our own will, answering His calling, trusting Him and submitting to His Will. Why me? Why am I here? Why don’t I feel content with my achievements? What is happening to me? Why does my heart feel so heavy? What is wrong? Yes! we have so many questions, I have been there, I understand what you are going through, and you are not alone. I am by no means an expert and every episode is inspired by the Holy Spirit. Taking Charge
In 2 Samuel 21:18-22, we see another series of battles between David's men and the Philistines. This passage recounts how David's warriors defeated four descendants of the giant Goliath, representing a continuation of victory over seemingly insurmountable odds. These verses are a powerful reminder that we too are called to take charge and confront the "giants" in our lives—whether they are challenges, fears, or obstacles.
Taking charge is about standing firm in the face of adversity, leaning on God for strength, and having the courage to face the giants in your life. Just as David and his men brought down the literal giants, we too can overcome our personal and spiritual battles. Victory is promised to those who trust in the Lord and refuse to give up.
